Panerhai Panerai Engraving Traces Of Nanjing History

Panerai PANERAI specially introduced two special edition watches for Nanjing as a tribute. The bottom case of both watches is engraved with Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, a landmark of Nanjing, and is only available at Panerai Nanjing stores.

Both watches belong to the special edition series. The bottom case is engraved with Nanjing’s most iconic landmark, Sun Yat-sen’s Mausoleum. It is designed by Paneraitec for customers in specialty stores around the world.

The first special edition watch designed for Nanjing was the Radiomir 10 Days GMT Automatic Acciaio – 47 mm 10-day power reserve two-time automatic steel watch (PAM00595), limited to 10 pieces. This watch’s elegant pillow-shaped case is made of polished steel; the simple black sandwich dial features hours with luminous Arabic numerals, a date display, a 10-day linear power reserve display, and a small nine o’clock Second dial with day and night hands; in addition to the hour and minute hands in the center of the dial, there is a second time zone hand essential for tourists. All elements on the dial are coated with light brown Super-LumiNova®. The watch uses a vintage leather strap and is equipped with a self-winding movement P.2003 developed by Panerai in the Neuchâtel watch factory in Switzerland.

The second special edition watch is the Luminor Marina Acciaio – 44 mm stainless steel watch (PAM00591), limited to 50 pieces. The watch case is made of polished stainless steel, and the crown bridge is made of matte steel; the classic Panerai black dial is used, and the simple and elegant bar-shaped hour markers and Arabic numerals are painted with light brown Super -LumiNova®. The dial is marked ‘Luminor Marina’, ‘Panerai’ and embossed with slow torpedoes-the Italian Royal Navy commandos were driving it to perform difficult underwater tasks, which they wore on their wrists at the time It was the first Panerai watch. In addition, the hour, minute and small seconds at 9 o’clock are also coated with the same fluorescent paint, in order to improve visibility and make the watch look more classic. The retro leather strap also highlights related elements. This watch is equipped with an OP II manual-winding movement.
