Classic Four Reverse Longines Master Series L2.715.8.78.3 Watch Real Shot

Before, the basic impression of all of us on mechanical watches was that they turned round and round, until the advent of the retrograde function, which broke everyone’s conventional cognition. The retrograde jump creates an interesting way of running time. When the pointer moves to the end of the fan-shaped display panel, it jumps back to the original point. Faced with such a novel device, many watch players enjoy this visual thrill. Today I will bring you a real shot of the Longines Master Series L2.715.8.78.3 watch.

This is a classic Longines series of four retrograde jumps, with week retrograde, date retrograde, 60-second retrograde and 24-hour second time zone retrograde. The most difficult is the 60-second retrograde design. Because of the high retrograde frequency, there are high requirements for materials and structures, and a retrograde once in 60 seconds can satisfy many people’s curiosity about retrograde.

Elegant appearance design, the dial layout is orderly, echoing up and down, left and right balance, silver white grain design, blue steel hands, everything is not messy.

The watch is made of 18K rose gold. The side of the watch has a crown and two buttons with a thickness of 14 mm. These two buttons are not the chronograph start / pause core zero button in ordinary chronograph watches. I will explain it in detail below.

The watch is equipped with a dark brown crocodile leather strap. You can usually wipe the strap with colorless sheep oil, especially before leaving it for a long time. This is the same as wearing leather shoes. The effect of long-term maintenance or maintenance is different .

On the other side of the watch, the push button on this side is used to adjust the 24-hour display of the second time zone on the dial.

From the side we can see that the design of the hands of the watch is very clear. The button at 10 o’clock is adjusted to display the second time zone on the right side of the dial for 24 hours. Before using the button, unscrew it counterclockwise and tighten the button after use to ensure that the watch is still waterproof.

The watch’s 1 o’clock direction button is a day button for adjusting the 12 o’clock position, and the 4 o’clock position button is a half-date display button for adjusting the dial. It should be noted that the watch crown can be located in 3 positions. When the crown is pulled out to the outermost position, the second hand will stop.

Note: Never adjust the date and day of the week between 9 am and 3 am to avoid damage to the mechanism.

The watch is equipped with a folding buckle made of 18K rose gold and high-strength stainless steel. The rose gold buckle is engraved with the Longines logo.

The 18K rose gold lugs of the watch, the lugs and the bottom of the watch present a perfect curvature, which makes people feel very comfortable when wearing, and they will also feel very convincing.

The button at the 19 o’clock position of the watch is a 24-hour display for adjusting the second time zone. During the adjustment, it must be rotated in the reverse direction before the adjustment, and it must be tightened again after the adjustment is completed. This is based on the consideration of waterproof requirements.

The watch is equipped with a self-winding L698.2 movement, a sapphire crystal case back and an 18K rose gold automatic rotor.

Summary: With its multiple retrograde functions, the watch quickly became the ‘classic representative’ of the LonginesMaster series after its release, and also added to Longines’ long tradition of watchmaking. And the retrograde watch also has the meaning of ‘back to the past’, to satisfy people’s spiritual past feelings, so it has always been a popular watch of Longines.
