1815 Tourbillon

For the first time, the Lange 1815 Tourbillon combines a stop-second device and a zero reset function in the tourbillon. The interaction between these two patented devices makes this new watch’s stop and set functions accurate to the second. The 1815 Tourbillon is designed for extremely precise time functions-when the crown is pulled out, the balance wheel in the tourbillon frame will immediately stop and the second hand will jump to the zero position. In this convenient and quick way, the watch can be synchronized with another reference watch or time signal. Its minimalist design ensures that all displays are legible, and of the complex mechanics of the entire watch, only the tourbillon is visible. The tourbillon has a diameter of 13.2 mm, an increase of about 1 mm compared to earlier models. The axis of the one-minute tourbillon is accompanied by a small blue-steel seconds hand, and the combination of Arabic numerals and classic train track minute scales is reminiscent of the long-standing Lange pocket watch. The watch is equipped with an 18K rose gold or platinum 950 case with a diameter of 39.5 mm. It is equipped with a Lange-made L102.1 movement in a proper proportion. Platinum 950 models are limited to 100.

Lange Zeitwerk Striking Time

At every hour, the Lange Zeitwerk Striking Time watch makes a deep musical sound, and then ringes the quarter clock with three high-pitched tones. This first-time Lange wrist performance is presented in 18K rose gold with a silvery white dial and 18K rose gold hands. The main ringing device components of Lange Zeitwerk Striking Time are meticulously integrated into the dial design. Black steel polished hammers can be found on both sides of the small seconds dial, and the hour is clocked at the hour and quarter. Two gongs are striking in the groove between the dial and the bezel. The L082.1 self-winding movement produced by the watch factory makes one of the gongs sound every 15 minutes, and it emits a high tone at the quarter clock and a deep music at the hour. The beeping device has a pause function to avoid any interference from the watch at night or during meetings. When the button at 4 o’clock is pressed, the hammer is lifted and the watch’s beeping function stops. This process can be observed through the sapphire crystal when the device is turned on or off.
