    Omega Celebrity Ambassador Rory Mcilroy And Sergio Garcia Jointly Unveil Omega 2015 Pga Championship Exhibition

    On August 12, Rory McIlroy and Sergio Garcia, the celebrity ambassadors and top golfers, unveiled the OMEGA Honor 2015 United States PGA Championship Exhibition.
       Rory McIlroy, the defending champion of the US PGA Championship, the world’s number one golfer, Sergio Garcia, the tenth world golfer, and the vice president and global sales director of Omega and the Swatch Group Mr. Raynald Aeschlimann, member of the expansion management committee, together helped cut the ribbon for the Omega exhibition in Whistling Straits.
       After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, McIlroy and Garcia visited the Omega exhibition with interest. The exhibition not only provides visitors with an opportunity to learn more about the Omega brand, but also highlights the extraordinary significance of Omega’s official timing for the PGA Championship and the Olympic Games.
       The two superstars continued to visit the ‘Omega Olympic Glorious Moments’ exhibition area, and many historically significant timers were wonderfully displayed in this exhibition area, including the first timer used by Omega as the Olympic timekeeper for the first time in 1932; the two stars also Celebrate the countdown to the 2016 Rio Olympics with Omega. At that time, Omega will be the 27th official glory of the Olympics, and golf will return to the Olympic Games after a century or more.

       Both McIlroy and Garcia left personal ‘imprints’ at the Omega exhibition-signing on the respective photo walls in the exhibition hall and meeting the media.
       The 97th US PGA Championship is the last major slam tournament of the year. This exciting golf tournament is held from August 10th to August 16th.        Rory McIlroy has been an Omega Celebrity Ambassador since 2013. He has hosted the 2012 PGA Championship in Kiawah Island, SC, and last year in Louisville, KY. Won the championship in the 2014 PGA Championship. Sergio Garcia has been an Omega Celebrity Ambassador since 2003. He was runner-up in the PGA Championship in 1999 and has won more than 25 championships in his career.
